
It is the mission of the Duplin County Parks & Recreation Department to enhance the
well-being of the citizens by offering a variety of both active and passive recreational activities. This is regularly accomplished through recreation programs, area parks, recreational facilities, Cabin Lake County Park and various other methods.

The Parks & Recreation Department operates Cabin Lake County Park which is located at 220 Cabin Lake Rd. in Pink Hill, NC. Duplin County's Cabin Lake is located approximately five miles north of Beulaville on Highway 111. The park is open for camping, hiking, fishing, boating, picnicking and swimming. The swimming area is only open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Admission to the park is $3.00 per person while children ages five and under free.

March & October 8:00 am - 7:00 pm (Thurs., Fri., Sat., Sun.) and 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Mon-Wed)
April - Sept. 8:00 am - 8:00 pm (Thurs., Fri., Sat., Sun.) and 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Mon-Wed)
Also open Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day.
