"Embers, Band of Oz, Johnny Dollar Band set for Muscadine Festival"

“Beach Music” has been described as a mix of rhythm and blues and heart and soul. This unique sound will drift through the air during the first Muscadine Harvest Festival on October 1st at the Duplin County Events Center in Kenansville. THE EMBERS—one of the most popular Beach Music bands, as well as one of the most active groups in the country, will take the stage Saturday evening. To say "The Embers play Beach Music" is an understatement. They entertain audiences! Seventeen albums and numerous single releases are just part of what has earned The Embers the title, North Carolina 's Official Musical Ambassadors.

Another great North Carolina Beach Music tradition, The Band of Oz will lead off the day, followed by the Johnny Dollar Band. Later, The Embers take the stage to entertain wine tasters all evening until 10 pm. Don't miss this chance to put on your “shaggin' shoes”. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy!

North Carolina Wineries from the mountains to the coast will feature their wines and products for tasting. Tickets are on sale now for the Festival, which includes Hot Air Balloon rides, vendors, wine tasting, and of course…Beach Music. Buy tickets in advance for $15, or $20 at the gate children tickets are $5. You can purchase your tickets online at www.muscadineharvestfestival.com , or call 910-296-2181.
