Birth Records

The Duplin County Register of Deeds Office has a complete record of all births that have been registered in Duplin County since October of 1913. An act of the legislature in that year first required that the state establish a uniform system by which such vital statistics be kept. Therefore, Duplin County has a record of only 2755 births that occurred prior to October of 1913.
