Duplin County Firefighters’ Association

Goals:

  1. The Duplin County Firefighters’ Association works to promote and standardize firefighting techniques among the fire departments serving Duplin County. This acts as a central office for the disseminating of information pertaining to new and improved methods of firefighting. Further, they work to offer better and more efficient service to the people of Duplin County in the protection of life and property. 
  2. The Duplin County Firefighters’ Association is to work toward the creation of a system of Rural Fire departments throughout the county, which will relieve the urban departments of the increasing needs and demands of the rural population.
  3. The Duplin County Firefighters’ Association works to form a strong county wide firefighters’ voice in dealing with state and local governments and other associations, in furthering the goals of the local group.
  4. The Duplin County Firefighters’ Association works to promote goodwill and a spirit of fellowship and brotherhood among all firefighters in the county.
