NOTICE OF INTENT TO LEASE COUNTY OWNED LAND COUNTY OF DUPLIN – WESTPARK INDUSTRIAL PARK

It is the intent of Duplin County to lease land at its WestPark Industrial Center near Warsaw, NC, for agricultural purposes for the 2025 calendar year. The land lease runs from January 1 to December 31, 2025. Renewals for 2026 and 2027 may be available. The WestPark property is approximately 100 acres combined along West Park Drive, Warsaw, NC, county parcel number 01-E116. Sealed bids were received on Friday, November 8, 2024. The best bid was received by Mr. Ross Thornton in the amount of $178.00 per acre per year.
