Purpose:
Duplin County Animal Services (DCAS) strives to protect the health and safety of our residents, ensure humane treatment of animals, provide temporary shelter for stray and unwanted animals and promote responsible pet ownership. Our officers strive to educate citizens on animal welfare laws to promote proper care and humane treatment of animals.

Adoptions are walk-in only. No appointment is required.
Closed Sunday & Monday
Tuesday thru Friday: 12:00PM to 5:00PM
Animal interactions end 30 minutes prior to close at 4:30pm
Saturday from 10:00AM to 4:00PM.
Animal Interactions end 30 minutes prior to close at 3:30pm
Animal Control Officers are available 7 days a week 365 day a year.
